Congratulations to our clients PROVA Innovations Ltd. and Axcessiom Technologies Inc. for their impressive pitches during the Innovation Factory’s Seventh Synapse Life Science Competition, held virtually on March 25, 2020. PROVA Innovations Ltd. was awarded second place, with a prize of $17,000 in cash, $4,000 in-kind services from Shift Health, and $2,000 in-kind services from Bereskin & Parr. The annual pitch competition included 12 finalists pitching for a chance to win a piece of the $100,000 prize pool of cash and in-kind prizes. Axcessiom Technologies Inc. won the third place Praxis Prize ($5,000 cash prize), which is an inaugural award sponsored by Praxis Spinal Cord Institute in partnership with Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation for their work on improving the lives of those with spinal cord injuries. We are excited to see their progression and further success in the years to come.
