Tricia Mumby

As one of the co-founders of Mabel’s Labels, Tricia has experienced everything on the spectrum from Idea to Acquisition. Mabel’s Labels is a direct-to-consumer custom printing company that started at $0 and was 100% bootstrapped with no investors or debt. While most manufacturing is done in-house, some off-shore production was outsourced to meet the demands of retailers such as Target and Walmart, for non-custom products. Mabel’s Labels was sold to Avery Products in 2016. Tricia was deeply involved in the acquisition process and lead the negotiations and presentations.

Tricia was the VP of Marketing & Product Development from 2002-2016 and focused on community building, digital selling, branding, and product design. When the business was successfully sold, Tricia took on the role of General Manager from 2016 – 2020.
For the past year, Tricia has been consulting with companies looking to increase their brand profile, create a solid marketing plan tied to powerful goals and find creative solutions to production issues. As an “ideas person”, Tricia has a lot of energy for entrepreneurs, their ideas, and making the most of every opportunity.
