Ingrid is an immigrant originally from Brazil, and is a successful entrepreneur with more than 10 years in tech, and a mentor for startups across North, South and Central America.
Founder and ex-CEO of SafetyDocs Global, she focused on managing the development of client-centred solutions, optimizing efficiency and lowering operations costs worldwide. She Started her company in Brazil and expanded it internationally. Her company went thru prestigious acceleration programs: Google for Startups, The Accelerator Center and Latam Startups.
Ingrid’s experience as a founder allowed her to develop a lot of skills to mentor and advise founders globally. She has developed international projects in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, the USA, Vietnam, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Jamaica, El Salvador and Canada.
In Canada, she is an active mentor in multiple innovation hubs, backing early-stage founders on their day-to-day challenges.
In her mission to support immigrant founders, she became the Co-chair of the Brazilian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in British Columbia, fomenting trade between the two countries. As well as founding the Find A Way Podcast, spotlighting the story of immigrant entrepreneurs.
