After graduating as a mechanical engineer from the University of Waterloo in 2014, Henrique tried and failed at 2 different startups. By 2018 he had learned, the hard way, what it feels like to get rejected. So over the next 3 years, he took to helping other tech founders in the Kitchener-Waterloo region avoid the same mistake he made at both startups: focusing too much on the solution and forgetting about the customer.
To date, Henrique has helped dozens of entrepreneurs make millions of dollars in revenue, culminating in the success of his third startup, BudTrainer. Operating in the highly competitive cannabis home-gardening space, Henrique took BudTrainer from $0 to $200k/year in under 2 years, making it available in over 160 retailers in Canada, the US, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
