Greenlid to bring its supply chain home to Ontario, receiving $500,000 in provincial funding.

The Ontario government is supporting an investment of more than $14.8 million by Greenlid to build a new manufacturing facility in Dundalk. The Ontario government is providing $500,000 in funding through the Regional Development Program’s Southwestern Ontario Development Fund to establish the 60,000-square-foot facility, which is expected to grow the local economy and increase jobs in the province.

The Forge client, Greenlid, produces compostable products, such as one-time-use plates, bowls, coffee cups, and lids. The company plans to move its manufacturing from China, bringing its production and supply chain back to Ontario.
