On Sept. 27 we bid farewell to Dr. Monika Yazdanian, the Director of The Forge at McMaster University. Dr. Yazdanian accepted a position as the CEO and Co-Founder at ToeFX, a Forge client which is a medical device startup developing a photodynamic therapy for onychomycosis. Dr. Gay Yuyitung, Executive Director at McMaster Industry Liaison Office, will be serving as the interim Director of The Forge. Dr. Yazdanian served as the Director of the Forge from November 2015, and has inspired hundreds of students and community members to follow their entrepreneurial passion building up their innovative business ideas.
