BDATA places third in an international ARTC Startup Challenge

On February 4, 2021, B Data Solutions Inc. (BDATA) was awarded third place in the 2021 ARTC Startup Challenge broadcasted from Singapore, with the event taking place virtually. Startups from sixty countries participated in the Startup Challenge presented by the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) in partnership with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and A*StartCentral and the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R). The Forge alumnus, BDATA, pitched their blockchain-driven secure, immutable, and auditable data streaming technology, which is being deployed in IoT Gateways, PLC, SCADA and Simcards for Digital Twin, Smarty City, Defence, Manufacturing, and in 5G Telecom use cases.

This year’s ARTC Startup Challenge had the theme of “Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) for Advanced Manufacturing,” and BDATA presented on one of three problem statements, generating a solution on how to enable inter-operability among existing legacy and newly installed sensors of different wireless protocol and network for remote monitoring and process control using IIoT solutions.
