The Forge clients BDATA and ezSec won Rogers 5G pitch competition

On October 27, Communitech hosted the Rogers 5G virtual pitch competition, where six companies presented their innovative proposals to address security challenges in the 5G space to a team of executives from Rogers Inc. On January 12, Communitech announced that four startups, including two of The Forge Business Incubator program alumnus, BDATA and ezSec, were selected to continue building relationships through collaborative ENCQOR projects and partnerships with the Rogers security team. BDATA provides end-to-end network, application, and device-level data security to ensure that data stream from the IoT products to the cloud is cryptographically encrypted and immutable. ezSec develops revolutionary no-compromise security and privacy solutions to the business sector as well as to the public.

The winning startups were awarded up to $50K in funding, mentorship with Data Growth Coaches, the assistance of data analysts, and a chance to meet with innovation teams at Rogers to receive guidance on project development and discuss potential partnership opportunities.
