Forge company Hal Cal, an app that helps consumers manage a healthy lifestyle, has raised an undisclosed angel round. Funding received will be used for product development and Hal Cal’s public launch.
Participants in the financing round included Moufeed Kaddoura, founder and CEO, ExVivo Labs, Matt Mastracci, founder, escapecode ventures, Justin LaFrance, founder, StumbleUpon and recently retired Robert Schmidt, former Chief for the California State Department of Technology and various levels of government.
“We feel very lucky to be supported by such a great group of investors. Everyone on the Hal Cal team has startup experience which I think is pretty special and gives us a certain edge over other companies who are competing against us in the same space”, said Lidia Sienkowska and Kathleen Sidenblad, Co-Founders of Hal Cal.
Congratulations to the Hal Cal team!
